Design, development and manufacturing of polymer micro structured optical components

Virtual reality, Augmented reality, Sensoring,  various fields in which microstructures and tight tolerances are required. Current complex processes result in accurate lenses or optical elements, but are not suitable for higher volumes due to the high costs. Axxicon has a proven manufacturing process to reach the same quality of your optics in a scalable polymer material.

Axxicon has a broad spectrum of devices available to measure work pieces, moulds or injection moulded products.
Most measurements are carried out with tactive or optical measurement principles:

Tactile Metrology

  • Zeiss Prismo 2x
  • Mahr form tester
  • Mahr roughness tester
  • Psia Atomic Force Microscope

Optical metrology

  • Keyence 3D laser confocal microscope
  • Mahr digital microscope
  • Interferometer

Polymer optics

Axxicon has developed a manufacturing process to transform complex elements and wafers into an accurate polymer replication process. We are proud to say that we are able to scale the volumes of your thin walled monolitic nano- or microstructured optic elements!

Lens arrays

A collection of small lenses arranged in a pattern on a surface.
