Our AIM™ Quick Change Mould System is used worldwide in the Polymer industry. This Flexible mould system is designed to comply exactly with the internationally accepted ISO, ASTM or UL standards as used by CAMPUS® to produce test specimens such as; dogbone tensile or charpy impact tests and ensure global comparison of material properties.
The AIM™ mould inserts can be changed within seconds!
AIM™ Mould Base
The AIM™ Quick Change Mould is a multi-functional injection mold with interchangeable inserts, used on conventional injection molding machines and capable of producing plastic test-specimen for various quality tests according to international standards.
AIM™ Inserts
Various types of specimen tests are commonly used to determine the material key properties such as tensile strength, Izod and Charpy impact strength, hardness, flammability, shrinkage and gloss/colour matching. Choose your Standard or create your own design for our Quick change mould system.
SUPPORT
Axxicon has in-house engineering, development, sales and service support. Our customer service team is availalbe to support and serve you in all maters regarding the AIM™ system. When direct support is needed we have service engineers who will travel around the world to support with installation, testing, validation and maintenance.
ISO inserts
The Quick change mould system and inserts can be configured to your exact needs for all sorts of test requirements.
Low to high mould temperatures suitable for for all kind of (thermo)plastics, compounds and bio plastics
Thermo couples, cavity thermo/pressure sensors, proximity switches, shotcounters, runner swithches, engravings as logo’s can be added on your demand.
A variety of coatings are available for all kins of tribology purposes; e.g. scratch resistance, corrosion resistance and to improve demoulding of materials. This in cooperation with A-brand coating suppliers
All kinds of textures can be applied on inserts and mirrors; e.g. automotive reference standards or individual surface grains. This in cooperation with A-brand texture suppliers.
Being fully compliant with all ISO requirements for approved injection moulds means we put a strong emphasis on greater standardisation and uniformity of specimen tests. We make sure that manufacturers who are operating globally, can ensure that product performance is consistent wherever it is made/tested.
Our multi-functional mould uses interchangable inserts and is used on conventional injection moulding machines. It incorporates a safe and reliable quick change system, which enables product forming inserts to be changed withing seconds!
The Quick Change AIM mould system creates all types of test specimen that are commonly used to determine key material properties such as tensile strenght, izod, charpy, impact strenght, flammability, shrinkage, compression and colour matching.
The AIM system is compliant with ISO 294 as used by Campus®. ISO sets the exact requirements for injection moulding (moulding machine, mould design and process conditions), the designated/dimensions of the test specimen, the test conditions for determining material properties and the specifications for acquiring/presenting the comparable data.
